An anniversary conference of the European Academy Academia Europea will take place between 16 and 19 September 2013 in Wrocław. You can learn more about the conference on: http://ae2013wroclaw.com/.

Seven members of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists participated in the prestigious conference. On Thursday, 19 September, Prof. Ewa Jankowska will present a lecture entitled: Contemporary research in cardiovascular science: bridging disciplines, countries and generations on the panel Young Academy Future Visions. Prof. Ewa Jankowska along with Dr. Habil. Artur Krężel will participate in discussion panels to accompany part of the newly founded conference Young Academy of Europe that associates young ERC scholars.

The exhibition presenting the works by visual artists, who are members of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists: Łukasz Huculak, PhD, Jakub Jernajczyk,  Karina Marusińska and Agnieszka Leśniak-Banasiak  Areas under curves will accompany the international conference of Academia Europea “25th Anniversary Conference. European science and scholarship looking ahead – challenges of the next 25 years”. It may be seen during the conference in Wrocław’s Congress Center.

Dr. habil. Artur Krężel and Bartłomiej Skowron, PhD received Burgen Scholarships enabling the presentation of their research during the conference.
